Customer Benefits
As a SATO resident you are entitled to various special benefits. Some of the benefits are related to the rental agreement and are provided by SATO. These benefits provide added flexibility to SATO's tenants. Some of the benefits are discounts or other advantages provided by SATO's partner companies. More detailed information about current customer benefits can be found in the Kotona magazine.
SATO Card
SATO launched a customer card the SATO Card in 2006. New 2009-2010 cards were mailed to all SATO homes in December 2008 and residents who have moved into their homes since then have received their card when signing the rental agreement. The card is valid in 2009 and 2010 and is household-specific. Card-holders will need the number printed on the card in contexts such as signing up for SATO events.
Kotona magazine
As a SATO resident you will receive the customer magazine Kotona four times a year. The magazine is brought to all SATO homes free of charge.
Customer events
SATO organises several customer events every year. A timetable of events and information on how to sign up for them can be found in every Kotona magazine.
Residents' cooperation
Many SATO buildings have a residents' committee which works in cooperation with the building manager. Many buildings also have communal activities developed and organised by active residents and it is definitely worthwhile taking part in these. A residents' meeting will decide on the most suitable form of cooperation for each building.
Security Deposit
Current customers can be refunded their security deposit after twelve months of uninterrupted tenancy of the apartment. The applicant must have a perfect history of rental payments.

Tenants paying by direct debit can choose the 17th instead of the 2nd day of the month as their rent payment date.
