Korjaamo is a cultural oasis in Taka-Töölö, bringing together urban culture, art and music. It is a local cinema for indie movies and a venue for a variety of gigs where you can dance into the night. The latest addition is the Escape Room adventure game, and Korjaamo Culture Factory also provides a setting for pop-up events and markets.

You will not need to travel far from Taka-Töölö for a great pizza as Linko PizzaBar serves great modern food and drinks. In addition to classic pizzas, the items on the menu range from salads to desserts for many tastes. There is often also live music for added atmosphere.

Founded more than 120 years ago, the City of Helsinki Winter Garden is an exotic meeting place for many Helsinki locals. It invites you to a leafy adventure into three rooms boasting more than 200 different plants. In the summer you can have ice cream and other treats in the cafe, and you are also allowed to bring your own snacks.

Made of welded steel pipes by sculptor Eila Hiltunen, the Sibelius Monument can be found in Sibelius Park in Taka-Töölö. Designed to resemble organ pipes, the monument was created to commemorate the world famous composer Jean Sibelius. The bust of the composer can be found on exposed bedrock next to the monument. In fact, the Sibelius Monument is one of the most famous sculptures in the world.

With stunning scenery for walks and runs and ornate wooden villas, Töölönlahti Bay is the absolute gem of the Taka-Töölö district. In addition to the idyllic views, there are also beautiful parks around the bay area where you can also take a refreshing break in Finlandiapuisto Park or visit the Opera House for an aria or two.
