Extensive grounds - plenty of room to play
This complex standing on a wooded cliff at the end of a quiet dead-end street consists of five buildings: four four-storey buildings (Soukankaari 11 and 13) and one nine-storey building (Kaskivuorenkuja 3).
All units at Kaskivuorenkuja 3 have balconies facing either south-southeast or west-southwest and most offer spectacular views over the forests of Espoo all the way to the sea. The units with kitchens at Soukankaari 11-13 have balconies opening from the living rooms and facing south-southeast, while the kitchenettes in the smaller units have windows. All units are bright and spacious.
Unless renovated, the kitchens may not necessarily accommodate dishwashers. The bathrooms have space for a washing machine and all units have ample storage.
Soukka is characterised by its proximity to the sea and its glorious natural setting. The nearby Suvisaaristo islands have not only beautiful walking paths but also a beach for swimming. There are a library, several day care centres and an primary school in the area. Everyday services can be found within walking distance at Soukka shopping centre, while Lippulaiva shopping centre in Espoonlahti or the Iso Omena Shopping Center in Matinkylä cater for wider needs. Soukka is located around 25 minutes from Helsinki by car and even by bus the journey is only a little over half an hour. Once the western extension of the Helsinki metro is completed, using public transport will be even more flexible. For transport links, see the HSL Journey Planner »
