The Soukankuja street area of Soukka is a traditional neighbourhood of mostly apartment buildings from the 1970s characterised by its proximity to the sea and its glorious natural setting.
The apartments in this pleasant building intended for senior citizens are homey and practical. Some have a sauna, and some have been designed specifically for wheelchair compliance. All apartments have parquet or laminate flooring, plenty of storage space and space for dishwasher and washing machine. There is an automated fire extinguishing system in every home. Residents can use the shared sauna and swimming pool sections as well as the gym located in the building. A lovely atmosphere is created by the safe residents’ community.
The rent charged for the units includes senior citizens' group activities and appointments with a public health nurse, both once a month, provided by Helsingin Diakonissalaitoksen Hoiva Oy. For more information about these services that can be ordered separately, please visit the Hoiva website: Helsingin Diakonissalaitoksen Hoiva Oy
Please note that at least one of the residents of each unit must be 55 years of age.
