High ceilings, wide windowsills, big windows and located at the very centre of the city. The plans for this Functionalist commercial building built in the years 1939-1941 were drafted by the SOK construction department under the leadership of architect Valde Aulanko. Some of the premises have subsequently been converted into residential units with a sauna. No two units are exactly alike. The layouts may be creative, but give loads of character and make for spacious homes.
