Honkasuo is located north of Malminkartano by the border between Helsinki and Vantaa right next door to Myyrmäki. This new residential area represents ecologically sustainable construction utilising low-energy construction and renewable energy.

The large and pleasant green areas in the neighbourhood make the area nice and leafy. The area has day-care facilities, schools, Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, and Vantaa Vocational College Varia.  Residents also have easy access to Myyrmanni shopping centre and diverse opportunities for sports and outdoor pursuits thanks to the local ice rinks, sports fields, indoor and outdoor football stadium and hall as well as running tracks. 

Transport links are excellent by car as well as public transport. Myyrmäki train station is less than 1 km from your front door and Malminkartano only slightly further away. The train journey to the centre of Helsinki only takes around 15 minutes.
