Maununtyttärenpuisto park in the neighbourhood is a historical site and left in its natural state, it is an excellent place to enjoy nature. A pedestrian and bicycle path, Kaarle Knuutinpojan rantatie street, runs between the buildings and the sea. Shared boat slips have been built in the bay opening off the buildings.
