This eight-storey building on the Kupittaanpuisto block has five attractive rental homes, both studios and one-bedrooms, as well as owner-occupied homes. The homes have glassed-in balconies with clear-glass railings, for lots of natural light, and wood floor grates. The kitchens have high-gloss white cabinetry and stone countertops. Equipment includes a ceramic cooktop, separate oven, microwave and one or two cold appliances depending on size of unit. The appliances are all stainless steel. The bathroom has space for a washing machine and dryer.
The units are equipped with underfloor heating and their own forced air ventilation system with cooling unit.
Kupittaanpuisto joins together closeness with nature and central location. Designed by architect Pekka Mäki, this new residential block stands at the conjunction of a hub of schools and offices, good transport links and the historical park setting of Kupittaa. Turku University Hospital and Kupittaa train station are close by, and it’s only a few kilometres to the market square too. The adjacent Kupittaanpuisto park offers plenty to do for children and adults alike. Sports fans may take in the offerings of the nearby ice rink and football stadium.
