The aim of our procurement is to safeguard the interests of the SATO Group. Tools employed in this include centralised procurement, specified management systems, Group-wide utilisation of economies of volume, application and expansion of best practices, building win-win partnerships and identifying reliable suppliers through the supplier management process.
We require compliance by our suppliers and partners with fair and equal employment legislation and agreements. Our procurement must support the achievement of SATO’s business objectives, including operations in accordance with our values. In our procurement decisions we emphasise quality and cost effectiveness, with a special focus on societal factors.
Action against the shadow economy plays a key role in SATO’s procurement.
The SATO strategy must be visible through the Procurement Policy in all collaboration with partners and in the supplier interface. We believe that by being a demanding while fair customer to our suppliers we can provide our own customers with an excellent customer experience.
