Prime located sheltered housing facility
The Liesitori housing facility accepts applicants aged 60 or older
Located just a stone’s throw from Myyrmäki train station, these homes feature security phone systems and cater to the needs of the ageing and persons with reduced mobility with e.g. electronically opened stairwell doors. The balconies of these practically laid out homes face either west or south. Some of the balconies have been glassed in. All apartments have space for a stackable washer/dryer and dishwasher. SATO rents out five homes at this building. The remaining homes are owner-occupied. No-smoking building.
Both the Myyrmäki and Martinlaakso service lines can be accessed from the adjacent bus stop.
Myyrmäki has good transport links to other areas in Vantaa and to Helsinki: the train journey to the centre of Helsinki is less than 20 minutes from the stations and the Ring Rail Line offers a very easy access to the airport and Tikkurila. There are several day care centres and schools as well as a general upper secondary school in this child-friendly area. The Myyrmäki sports park has facilities such as ice rinks and petanque courts, and the indoor sports facility is also within walking distance. Everyday services and specialty shops can be found at Myyrmanni shopping centre and there is also a library in the area. For transport links, see the HSL Journey Planner »
