Community life and urban atmosphere
In Myyrmäki's new center, everything is close by
The 12-storey Myyrin Tähti is one of the landmarks of the new central block of Myyrmäki, where you live in a modern and high-quality urban home by the community-evolving Ruukkutori.
Myyrin Tähti is at the center of everything, and services are within walking distance. The Myyrmäenraitti, a pathway for pedestrians and cyclists, runs in front of the building. On another side, there opens an amphitheater-like Ruukkutori square with artworks. On the backyard side, there is the Paalukylänpuisto, becoming a pleasant urban lounge area for residents.
The apartments are designed for those who enjoy city living. In this carefree and comfortable home completed in March 2024, you can focus on what's essential: enjoying coffee moments on the glazed balcony, and pleasant encounters with neighbors and friends in the ground-floor retail spaces. A special feature of the building is the green roof garden built over the first floor. There, you can sit back in the comfortable lounge area, enjoy children's joy at the playground, and cool down after the sauna sessions in the building's sauna.
The carbon footprint of the Myyrin Tähti building is 15.2 CO2e/m2/a. The building's district heating is generated from renewable energy. The apartment-specific ventilation units allow for high-level heat recovery and energy efficiency. Myyrin Tähti is barrier-free and accessible, and access to the car parking facility is directly available from the stairwell of each floor via an elevator.
Myyrin Tähti at Ruukkutori 1 consists of one residential high-rise building, which is 12-storeys tall and has one staircase. The building's facades are vibrant: one can sense the interplay of colors, light, and shadows. There are 64 apartments, of which SATO owns five studio apartments and two one-bedroom apartments.
Two sauna departments offer comfortable settings for relaxation. You can invite friends and relatives to the clubroom for celebrations, game nights, or even delicious cooking sessions. The laundry room has ample space for taking care of laundry, and two separate drying rooms make laundry drying efficient.
Apartment-specific storage units are located in the basement shelter, a separate storage area, or in a storage area on the 1st floor. The stroller storage is in the basement. Outdoor equipment storage rooms are in the basement and on the 1st floor. The laundry and drying rooms are in the basement. The saunas with changing rooms and the company's clubroom are on the 2nd floor.
Both cold and hot water consumption is measured per apartment. Apartment-specific ventilation provides comfort in all homes, as does the modern equipment of Finnish Puustelli kitchens. The floors in the homes are laminate, and the walls are painted light.
The heating is connected to district heating with water radiator heating. The bathroom has underfloor heating powered by apartment-specific electricity.
Windows have venetian blinds. Balconies are glazed, with mainly openable glazing. There is an electrical outlet and a wall light on the balcony.
In the kitchen, there is ceramic tile between the kitchen cabinets. The kitchen is equipped with an extractor hood, a ceramic hob, a convection oven, a dishwasher, a provision for a microwave, and a fridge with a freezer compartment.
The bathroom is tiled, and there are provisions and connections for a washing machine and a dryer.
The main doors of residential buildings are equipped with a door intercom.
