Saunalahti is a recently developed, attractive neighbourhood of some 5,000 residents. Studded with pines and rocky outcroppings, Saunalahti offers great opportunities for enjoying the outdoors, and Bastvik Manor with its grounds and reedy shores and the Fiskarsinmäki grove make nature an integral part of the area. The area has e.g. several day care centers, an elementary school, child health centre, youth center, library and grocery store. More services can be found in Kivenlahti and the center of Espoonlahti within a three-kilometer radius. Saunalahti provides convenient transport links on public transport as well as for private cars. Cyclists will be happy about the excellent cyclepaths available. Bus services to Helsinki as well as destinations around Espoo can be found right next door, and the Länsiväylä motorway is only 1.5 km away. Transport links will be even faster once the western extension of the Helsinki metro is completed.
