Arabianranta is one of the newest and most popular neighbourhoods of Helsinki. This trendy and vibrant neighbourhood has risen around the Arabia porcelain factory and its prime assets are its proximity to the sea, excellent transport links and edgily attractive architecture. Most commercial services in the area are available at Arabia shopping centre. There are several day care centres, schools and sports facilities nearby. The Arabianranta district features also colleges, such as the Arabia campus of Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory, and Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
