Parking spaces in OmaSATO

Rent a parking space easily online.

In some SATO buildings, you can rent a parking space in OmaSATO whenever it suits you best. If no suitable spot is available right away, you can order an email notification about parking spaces as they become available.

Please note that in most buildings, a parking space can, for the time being, only be reserved through the maintenance or parking company. You can find the contact details in OmaSATO. If a parking space is not immediately available, you can join the waiting list.

How to rent a parking space in OmaSATO

  1. Log in to OmaSATO at oma.sato.fi.

  2. In the top navigation, select Reservations › Parking. Click the 'See all parking spots' button.

  3. Browse the available parking spots, choose the one that suits you and click 'Rent' in the bottom-right corner of the parking card.

  4. Check your contact details and select the start date of the agreement.

  5. Review the draft agreement and the parking agreement terms carefully before approving it. If needed, you can still change the start date or cancel the process before approval.

  6. Finally, approve the agreement to make it binding.

You can find your parking agreement as well as related information and instructions in OmaSATO. If your housing lease agreement is in the names of several people, the parking agreement is visible to all parties.

Please note that you can only have one parking agreement through OmaSATO at a time. If you need more than one parking spot, please contact our customer service.

Parking space alert

If a suitable parking space is not immediately available, you can set up a parking space alert in OmaSATO. It will notify you when a new space becomes available in your home building. The alert is personal, and each resident of the same home can create their own. You can view the alert in OmaSATO, and cancel it there once you no longer need it.

Terminating and changing a parking space agreement

You can easily terminate your parking space agreement in OmaSATO. Only the resident who entered into the agreement can terminate it. The notice period is one calendar month, which means the agreement always ends on the last day of the following month. You will receive a confirmation of the termination by email along with instructions on how to return the keys and access permits.

If the parking space is terminated separately while your apartment lease agreement continues, we will send you a new rent payment form. The change will also appear in OmaSATO for all parties to the agreement.

You can change your parking space in OmaSATO if there are available spaces in your building. In that case, the old agreement always ends on the last day of the following month, and the new agreement starts the day after the old one ends. If no spaces are available, you can set up a parking space alert that will notifiy you as soon as a space becomes available.

Electric vehicle charging spaces

Charging at electric vehicle parking spaces is billed separately. You can access the charging service through our charging partner e-Parking at eparking.fi.

Instructions for using a parking space

  • Always follow the terms and conditions of the parking space agreement, rules and regulations of the building, as well as any instructions given by the housing provider.

  • Use the parking space only for storing your own or a household member’s registered and inspected vehicle. Storing scrap or spare-part vehicles is not allowed.

  • The vehicle must fit within the marked parking space.

  • Take care of snow removal and de-icing for your parking space. Place the snow in a location where it does not block other spaces or hinder snow removal on the parking area.

  • If your parking space has a heating pole, always keep the its cover locked. Disconnect the heater cable after use. The landlord determines the power supply times for any heating sockets.

  • Charge your electric vehicle only at a charging point specifically installed for this purpose. Always use appropriate charging cables and make sure charging does not cause any danger or inconvenience to others. Disconnect the charging cable after use. If the charging cable is defective or a fault light is on at the charging point, do not charge your vehicle.

  • Charging from a heating pole is prohibited.

  • If your parking space comes with a parking permit, always keep it visible when your vehicle is parked.
