SATO challenges young people to brainstorm homes of the future

9 June 2014

General upper secondary school students to brainstorm designs for SATO JuniorHome.

Housing investment company SATO participates in the Safari camp organised by Avanto Helsinki where 50 young people aged 16 to 19 put their heads together to generate solutions to society's problems. SATO has challenged some of them to come up with ideas and designs for homes of the future from the youth perspective.

Customer Relationships and Communications Director Monica Aro from SATO:

- It's important for SATO to keep in touch with customers of all ages in order for us to be able to offer the right kinds of homes and services for those who need them today as well as tomorrow.

- We want to hear these young people's thoughts and wishes about homes and rental housing and we cannot wait to see what kind of housing concept they'll produce this week.

In addition to SATO, the Safari camp partners include the energy company Helsingin Energia, Pro Ethical Trade Finland, Helsinki Zoo, and the Youth Department of the City of Helsinki.

The young people will present their ideas and thoughts to the partners and audience at the concluding event at Restaurant Dubrovnik (Eerikinkatu 11), Helsinki, on Friday 13 June.

We look forwarding to seeing you at the event!
