SATO signs new property maintenance and cleaning contracts

SATO has signed new contracts for the building maintenance and cleaning of all SATO rental buildings. The annual value of the contracts totals approximately €11 million. SATO sets specific requirements for clarity, transparency and quality service from the resident perspective in the new contracts.

- Smooth cooperation between building maintenance and management helps achieve high quality of customer experience and keep the properties in good technical condition.
- Several practical measures will be employed to improve openness. These include making the maintenance staff easier to identify and access. Awareness among residents of the cleaning level required will be increased by displaying the cleaning programme ordered for the property on the notice board.
The new property maintenance contracts entered into force at the beginning of October. Contracts were signed with a total of 22 maintenance companies to ensure regional coverage. The largest contracts in terms of volume were signed with Lassila & Tikanoja plc, KH group and Tapiolan Lämpö Oy.
