These apartments have been designed to meet the needs of the elderly and those with reduced mobility. At least one of the residents must be at least 65 years of age, retired or have some other grounds accepted by City of Helsinki Social Services and Health Care. All apartments have a spacious, glassed-in balcony, parquet flooring, fully tiled bathroom and space for a dishwasher and washing machine. The layouts are clean and provide lots of light for added comfort. The sheltered housing facility next door provides a variety of home and health care and other services that residents can purchase. There is an indoor connection between the buildings. The safety phone service, water charge and access to the drop-in centre of the sheltered housing facility are included in the rent.
