The grounds of the Pirkkola sports park extend right up to the building’s back yard and the entire district is criss-crossed with leafy walking paths. There are several schools and day care centres as well as the ordinary everyday services in the district, along with a library, pharmacy and health station within walking distance. There is a commuter train station located within walking distance and several regional and U bus lines towards Vantaa, Klaukkala and Nurmijärvi run along Hämeenlinnanväylä road in the area.
