Suurpelto is a new, growing residential district in the middle of Espoo and by Ring Road II. The area’s basic services are good: the neighbourhood has facilities including several daycare centres, a Finnish- and English-speaking school, and a library. Commercial services are provided by the local shops and the Suuris shopping centre. Bus connections to Matinkylä, Tapiola and the centre of Helsinki are smooth, and those with a car get to Helsinki in less than half an hour.
