The sea provides a lovely setting for spending time outdoors, and the banks of the Ruoholahti canal are nice to sit on in the summer. The many cafés and the Cable Factory cultural centre also add character to the area. The area is accessible by metro as well as several regional bus lines headed for Espoo.
